The International Piano Academy Lake Como is a unique institution.
Seven pianists, chosen annually from a worldwide field of applicants including many international prizewinners, have the opportunity of studying with a faculty whose core membership past and present.

“Since the beginning of the International Piano Academy Lake Como”, our mission has been to form exceptional young pianists and also to nurture and hone their skills as teachers for future generations.

Our program has, over the years, paid off handsomely. Not only do our young artists continue to achieve major careers as concert pianists but just in this last year six of our former students have been appointed professors in major music schools and conservatories around the globe, from Geneva/ Neufchâtel to Shanghai from Copenhagen to London and from Lugano to Budapest! We are proud of their achievements.

Continuing the tradition, we invite some these former students to return to us and share with our new students the traditions and wisdom of the great masters that taught them in our Academy. This next year, three new Professors have been appointed to the International Piano Academy Lake Como:

Alessandro Deljavan (Italy), François Dumont (France), and Gabor Farkas (Hungary)
